So, yeah, I must be the only person on the planet who thinks he's a pretty okay signing for them (if he stays fit). Obviously it does slightly smack of desperation because they couldn't get Benzema and whatnot and it's easy to point and laugh at them for signing a guy whose had more injuries than Mr. Kennedy but I mean, shit, as a free transfer United really have nothing to lose (if he stays fit) and isn't he on a pay-as-you-play deal anyway? Decent 3rd choice centre forward (if he stays fit), still averaged a goal every 2.6 games or some shit in a fucking turgid Newcastle team and will pretty much definitely score goals in a much better team like Man United (if he stays fit).

If he stays fit.

I give him a week before he tears something and is out for all of next season. Maybe they should sign Darren Anderton next.
